How much would a nice, two-week trip to Paris cost me?

I'm asking from the east coast of the States, for reference. Don't have any details further than that so far, but we're looking for a nice hotel (wouldn't be opposed to a B&B) that's somewhat central to the city. We want to see the Lourve, the Eiffel Tower, etc.

How much do you think that will cost us? Thanks.

Answer :
Depends what time of year. May-August plane tickets will cost about $1,000 each. Sept-April plane tickets will be about $600 each.
Paris is very expensive, a run of the mill cheap hotel will be at least $100 a night. Plus food, attractions, taxis, etc. And the exchange rate sucks, a soda that costs you $1 in the US will cost you about $1.50 in Paris, doesn't seem like much but multiply that by $30 meals and it's a lot.
So summer- about $4,000 winter $3,000

Answer :
For the plane ticket summer is the most expensive time to go to Paris. However, August is dirt cheap for Hotels in Paris. The reason being that the French all go on holiday in August so the Hotels are empty. Some hotels drop their price by two. Wait till June to book your hotel that's when they will drop their prices. It's radical.

Go through this link to book your hotel: http://www.lookotel.com/result.php?searc… You will find run-of-the-mill hotels for 60$ a night. Go to the supermarket to buy your drinks and food. You can drop it to 2500€ for two weeks in Paris.
